12 - Copy will of Abraham Denston of Derby, plasterer - to his wife Ann, all his share of the lease of land known as Burton Holmes, for her life with remainder to their children James, Charles, John, Sarah and Kezia, Elizabeth Smith and Ann Holden - to his son James the house left to him by Abraham Denston his father, with the yard and parlour, at the side of the County Hall in Walker Lane (see CT 11), with the reversion of the lease of his farm called Rowditch at Markeaton (except the brickyard) -the house in St. Mary's Gate and the house known as the Sign of the Mitre (on the east side of the parsonage house of All Saints' viz. in Amen Alley) to his wife Ann for life with remainder to their children (except James) - the privilege of making bricks at Rowditch to his wife and children (James to have 2 shares). 23 Mar - 1779
