3-4 - Lease and release by Jacob Udall to Anthony Lax Maynard of Chesterfield, Clerk of the Peace, in consideration of £330, of premises as CT/1-2, in trust for the use of the county of Derby. 24/5 Mar - 1794

11 - Probate of Abraham Denston - to his wife, Elizabeth, all his real estate in Derby for her life -to his son Abraham Denston, the reversion of the house and backside near All Saints Yard, adjoining the parsonage and the house he now inhabits in Walker Lane, with remainder to his grandson Abraham Denston - to his son James Denstone, the reversion of the house and backside in Full Street and the house now in the occupation of Abraham Denston the son - to his daughter Rebecca Webster, the reversion of a house in Walker Lane for her life with remainder to her son, James Webster in fee simple - to Rebecca, also £10 - - to Elizabeth also, for life, all his personal estate, household goods and chattels (will dated 17 Jan 1753). Proved at Derby 15 May - 1753

12 - Copy will of Abraham Denston of Derby, plasterer - to his wife Ann, all his share of the lease of land known as Burton Holmes, for her life with remainder to their children James, Charles, John, Sarah and Kezia, Elizabeth Smith and Ann Holden - to his son James the house left to him by Abraham Denston his father, with the yard and parlour, at the side of the County Hall in Walker Lane (see CT 11), with the reversion of the lease of his farm called Rowditch at Markeaton (except the brickyard) -the house in St. Mary's Gate and the house known as the Sign of the Mitre (on the east side of the parsonage house of All Saints' viz. in Amen Alley) to his wife Ann for life with remainder to their children (except James) - the privilege of making bricks at Rowditch to his wife and children (James to have 2 shares). 23 Mar - 1779

13 - Mortgage by demise for 500 years by James Denston of Mackworth, farmer, to Elizabeth Ryley of Mackworth widow, for £80, of a cottage in Walker Lane, Derby, with the twitchill (passage) between the cottage and the Shire Hall garden (16 ft. x 2 ft.) (see CE/8) 28 Dec - 1781

14-15 - Lease and release by James Denston and Elizabeth his wife to Charles Denston of Derby, baker and Joseph Morley of Derby, baker (trustee), in consideration of £104 7s. 6d. paid to Joseph Lee of Dalbury Lees, farmer and Mary his wife (executrix of Elizabeth Ryley) upon a mortgage and £65 12s. 6d. paid to Denston, of premises as CT/13. 13/14 Mar - 1795
