2 - Articles of agreement between Thomas Smythe of Lymm Handley (Ches.) and Robert Marseland of Hayfield and William Armefield of Coppshurst, overseers of Bowden Middlecale - Smythe is to pay 6s. 6d. per quarter for 3 years and 4s. 4d. for the 5 years thereafter, to the overseers for the maintenance of a bastard child born to Mary Barns of Buxworth. 17 Oct - 1685
