1-2 - Lease and release by William Flint, leadmerchant, of Crich, Charles Hurt esq of Alderwasley, John Odingsells Leeke, gent, of Wirksworth, and Thomas Whieldon, gent, of Wakebridge Hall, to Wigley Hayward gent of Cromford, of one undivided moiety of a red lead mill at Crich now in tenure of William Flint, excepting all lead mines and ore and lott and cope lying within the premises, in consideration of £42, May - 1726

3-4 - Counterparts of lease for 7 years by Edmund Hodgkinson, lead merchant, of Matlock to Francis Hurt, lead merchant, of Wirksworth, of a red lead mill at Crich, late in occupation of Wigley Hayward, lead merchant, deceased; consideration and date left blank - 1758

5 - Articles of agreement between Edmund Hodgkinson, lead merchant, of Matlock and Elizabeth his wife, and Francis Hurt, lead merchant, of Wirksworth, that Hodgkinson will convey to Hurt 2 undivided thirds of a red lead mill at Crich, called Carr Mill, with 2 undivided thirds of the land adjoining (1 acre), in return for £10, plus £50, being consideration for these presents, May - 1764

6 - Lease for possession by Edmund Hodgkinson, gent, of Matlock and Elizabeth his wife, only daughter and devisee of Wigley Hayward, deceased, to Francis Hurt, lead merchant, of Wirksworth, of two undivided thirds of a red lead mill, called Carr Mill, at Crich, now in tenure of Francis Hurt, with undivided thirds of land adjoining (1 acre), with intent to receive reversion of same, May - 1764

7-8 - Final concord with counterpart between Francis Hurt, gent, plaintiff and Edmund Hodgkinson and Elizabeth his wife, deforciants, of two thirds of a water mill, one acre of meadow and one acre of pasture in Crich, in consideration of £60. - 1764

9 - Conveyance by John Ryle esq, of Park House near Macclesfield (Cheshire), Peter Arkwright esq. of Rock House near Cromford, as trustees of the will of Susanna Hurt, of Wirksworth, widow and relict and devisee of Charles Hurt esq of Wirksworth, devisee of Francis Hurt esq, his father of Alderwasley, Charles Hurt esq eldest son of Charles Hurt and Susanna Hurt, Rev. John Wolley of Beeston (Nottinghamshire), to Richard Hurt esq of Wirksworth, second son of Charles Hurt deceased, reciting that in 1807 Charles Hurt made a gift of premises below to Richard his son, but failed to execute a conveyance of same, and reciting also that Charles and Richard Hurt and John Wolley are residuary legatees of will of Susanna Hurt, and reciting that Charles and John are satisfied that above said gift to Richard actually took place, and have thus instructed trustees to make a conveyance of premises to Richard; now in consideration of 10s the trustees convey to Richard a messuage with piece of land or garden belonging in Crich, now or late in occupation of Joseph Topham, and on the site of which formerly stood a red lead mill called Car Mill, Mar - 1836

10 - Conveyance by Philip Anthony Hurt esq of Wirksworth to William Holmes, labourer of Crick Car and James Clifford Newbold gent, of Matlock, reciting that Richard Hurt esq, late of Wirksworth, died on 15 Jan 1851, intestate, leaving Philip Anthony Hurt his sole heir; now in consideration of £100 Philip Anthony Hurt conveys to William Holmes a messuage with a piece of land or garden adjoining in Crich, Mar - 1853
