1 - Bargain and sale by William Nedeham of Thornsett gent to Nicholas Garlecke late of Povyngton, (Dorset), for £123 6s 8d, of messuages, lands etc called Ladshabothom, Beardhalghe, Blackehall and Aspynshaw (naming tenants) in Bawden [Bowden] township, parish Glossop and all messuages, lands etc in places named above and `Ollercett' and for £20, of Crowderbothom Meadow in Thornsett and Ladshawbothom, paying 16d annually to the chief lords of the fee and service of fealty, 15 Feb 3 Edward VI - [1549]

2 - Letters of attorney from William Nedham to Thomas Rawlynson of Hygate and Edward Hyde of Longe Lee to give possession of premises in Nottingham to Nicholas Garlek (Ladshawbothom, Ollersett, Beardhaulghe, Bakehall, Aspynshawe in Bowden and Crowtherbothom) 2 Mar 3 Edward VI - [1549]

3 - Final concord made between Nicholas Garleck quer and William, Richard and Humphrey Nedeham deforciants, concerning 4 messuages, 100 acres of land, 60 acres of meadow, 54 acres of pasture and 30 acres of wood in Ladesshawbothome, Ollersett, Berdehaugh, Blackehall, Asspynsshawe, Crotherbothome Medowe, Thornesett and Bawden; for recognition of his right in the property, Garleck has given £60 to the Nedehams. 4 - Final concord made between Nicholas Garleck quer and Thomas Barbar and wife Dorothy deforciants, concerning messuage and 16 acres of land, 20 acres of meadow and 10 acres of wood in Ladesshawbothome, Thornsett and Bawdon; for recognition of his right in the property, Garleck gave Barbar 50s of silver, Easter 3 Edward VI - [1549]

5 - Final concord made between Richard ? Wenesley esq, Richard and Henry Nedham gents quer and Otiwell Nedham esq deforciant concerning the manor of Thornesett, 8 messuages, 6 cottages, 300 acres of land, 100 acres of meadow, 200 acres of pasture, 100 acres of wood, 1000 acres of heath and furze and 20s rent, in Glossop, Thornsett, Aspenshaw, Whittle, Ladshawbotham and Hayfield; for recognition of Richard Nedeham's right to this, Otiwell Nedeham has been given 250 marks of silver, All Souls 6 Elizabeth - [1564]

6 - Ratification of title to mortgage term of 99 years by George Nedeham of Cowley gent and Henry his son and heir to Roland Eyre of Hassop gent. Recites that Ottiwell Nedeham of Cowley esq in a deed of 17 Nov 7 Elizabeth [1564] leased to Thomas Daken of Beylyflatt gent, his manors of Darley, Cowley, Edensor and Thornsett with all houses, lands, fishing grounds, quarries, mines etc and his profits of court in Darley, Cowley, Edensor, Thornsett and Glossop for 99 years, which premises have come by `meane' [intervening] conveyances to Roland Eyre for the residue of that term In consideration that Eyre will pay £24 to Ralph Blackwall gent for certain years yet enduring for George Nedeham's debt `yet' amounting to £162 unpaid which Eyre is to take order for [?assume responsibility for its payment], that Eyre has paid £52 to Blackwall for George's debts, that Eyre is bound in £200 with Robert Daken to Robert Viccars and Philip Ablett gent jointly to pay £110 which Roland Eyre is also to take order for, that Eyre is to "bring into" the Court of Chancery such money as the Court shall decide for William Frost or his father William's executor, if `such order' may be taken [?arrangements made] for the security and redemption of certain of the property mortgaged by George Needham to William Frost the father and that Eyre has defrayed legal expenses arising as a result of Needhams troubles, the title of Eyre to residue of term of 99 years in lease above is ratisfied provided that if George or Henry Nedeham pay Eyre the various sums he has paid on account of George's debts etc, the Nedehams may re-enter the premises 18 Jan 39 Elizabeth Endorsed that this deed was shown at the examination of ?Ralph B ?he gent taken at Chapel en le Frith 28 Apr 1 Charles I [1625] - [1597]

7 - Assignment by William Ridge of Hayfield yeoman Francis Fitzherbert of Tissington esq, John Basford of Newton Grange and William Cressey of Oldcote, (Nottinghamshire) gent of residue of term of 99 years which came to him and to Robert Daken of Hazelwood gent (now deceased) to hold to the use of Henry Nedeham 20 Aug 6 James I - [1608]

8 - Assignment of residue of term of mortgage for 99 years by George Nedham of Thornsett esq, his son and heir Henry gent and William Ridge of Hayfield yeoman to Peter Columbell of Darley esq Reciting lease for 99 years and that the residue of the term has come to William Ridge in trust for George and Henry Nedeham, in consideration for £200 paid by Collumbell to Henry Nedham, the residue of the term in the manor of Darley, messuages, lands in Darley were assigned by Ridge to Columbell for residual of term providing that if the £200 is repaid, the assignment will be void Lists names of tenants of the premises 20 Aug 6 James I Endorsed that this deed was shown to John Howson and others at their examination - [1608]

9 - Covenant to stand seised to uses, by George Nedham of Thornsett esq to Henry Nedham his son and heir, by which George is to stand seised of half the manors of Darley, Cowley and Lees and the messuages, lands etc belonging to the use of Henry and his heirs for ever, and of the manor of Thornsett and lands etc of George in Glossop to the use of George and his wife Katherine for their lives and then to Henry and heirs - [1609]

10 - Further covenant that the release by George formerly made to Henry of the manors of Darley, Cowley and Lees is to be deemed for the use of Henry and his heirs forever, 14 Feb 6 James I Bargain and sale by George Nedham of Thorsett esq and Henry his son and heir gent to Francis Nedham of Melbourne esq and John Yeomans of Melbourne yeoman for a competent sum, of manors, capital messuage and farm called Thornsett in Glossop parish and deeds etc concerning the premises, to the use of Francis Reciting that Francis Fitzharbert esq, John Beresford and William Cressey gent hold an assignment of a lease of these and other premises, formerly made by Otwell Nedham to Thomas Dakins 4 Dec 8 James I Endorsed .... from my cousins George and Henry Nedham - [1610]
