1 - Photocopy Probate of William Thorpe of Eyam, yeoman - being in good health but seeing daily experience of the uncertainty of this transitory life by the hand of God upon my family - all his goods and chattels, moveable and unmoveable to Thomas Thorpe and Alice Thorpe, children of his son Thomas Thorpe, decd., for their upbringing and education - to the said Alice £15 when she is 21 - all his housing, lands, etc., to William Thorpe and the said Thomas Thorpe, in tail general with remainder for want of issue to his cousin Abraham Broadhurst, son of George Broadhurst of Upper Haddon - to the said Robert and William Thorpe, 20s - John Wilson of Church Style and Abraham Broadhurst to be his executors and guardians of Thomas and Alice (will dated 3 Oct 1665), proved at Breadsall 6 Jun 1666 - 20th Cent

3 - Photocopy Probate of Richard Talbott of Riley, yeoman (blacksmith) - all his estate to his wife, Catherine Talbott if she does not remarry but if she shall remarry to have a third part only - to his eldest son Robert Talbott, the heifer, called Buxton Heifer - to his son George Talbott to Smithy shop, paying Robert £5 on the day of his marriage - if George should die, the smithy shop to go to his third son Jonathan - if all his sons die his estate to be divided equally between Jonathan Harristone of Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire and Joseph Bramhall of Riley and if Joseph dies, his share to be divided among the poor of Eyam - William Mompesson - rector of Eyam to be executor (will dated Jul 1666), proved at Chesterfield 24 Apr 1667 - 20th Cent
