1 - Release to follow lease, by John Smith of Nottingham, gent., John Walker of Dundas Road, near Guelph, Canada, farmer, and Richard Walker of Grooby (Leics) to Richard Stratford of Ockbrook, baker, in consideration of £10 paid to Richard Walker and £12.10s paid to John Walker, of a parcel of land at Ockbrook on the east side of Borrowash Lane (50 sq yd) and another parcel at the same place (10 sq yds) - 8 Aug 1838

2 - Conveyance by Richard Stratford and Job Elson of Nottingham, licensed victualler, to Richard Spencer of Bartlewood Lodge near Ockbrook, farmer, in consideration of £105 paid to Elson, of 2 dwelling houses at Borrowash (tenants William Yates and Frederick White) with a small parcel at the back and 2 gardens nearby, subject to a chief rent of 4d. pa to the lord of the manor of Ockbrook - 20 Aug 1845

5 - Conveyance by William Richardson of Derby, merchant tailor and Robert Neville Jowle of Manchester, gent, (trustees for sale under the Will of Joshua Street, decd.) to Joseph Machin of Borrowash, gent, in consideration of £395, of two dwelling houses in Ockbrook Road, Borrowash (tenants Fredrick White and Mr Hunt) a small piece of land at the back thereof, with a garden a short distance away, also 242½ sq yds of land in the said Ockbrook Road - 16 Jan 1892

6 - Conveyance by John Henry Powell of Derby, solicitor, and John Cumberland of Derby, auctioneer (trustees for sale under the will of Joseph Machin) to Aaron Rushton of Borrowash, butcher, in consideration of £440, of premises as T5, with the 2 messuages lately erected upon the second plot of land - 9 Nov 1895

7 - Mortgage in fee by Aaron Rushton to the Derbyshire Permanent Benefit Building Society, for £300, of premises as D938/T6. - 11 Nov 1895

8 - Conveyance by Aaron Rushton of Borrowash, retired butcher, and the London Joint City and Midland Bank (his mortgagee) to James Herbert Hales of 116, Boyer Street, Derby, confectioner, in consideration of £385 paid to the Bank of 4 messuages with gardens, outbuildings etc being Nos 4,6,8 and 10 Victoria Avenue, Borrowash (tenants Boswort, Oakes, Booth and Perkins), No 4 being used partly as a saleshop. - 27 Sep 1922
