1 - Release to follow lease, by John Smith of Nottingham, gent., John Walker of Dundas Road, near Guelph, Canada, farmer, and Richard Walker of Grooby (Leics) to Richard Stratford of Ockbrook, baker, in consideration of £10 paid to Richard Walker and £12.10s paid to John Walker, of a parcel of land at Ockbrook on the east side of Borrowash Lane (50 sq yd) and another parcel at the same place (10 sq yds) - 8 Aug 1838
2 - Conveyance by Richard Stratford and Job Elson of Nottingham, licensed victualler, to Richard Spencer of Bartlewood Lodge near Ockbrook, farmer, in consideration of £105 paid to Elson, of 2 dwelling houses at Borrowash (tenants William Yates and Frederick White) with a small parcel at the back and 2 gardens nearby, subject to a chief rent of 4d. pa to the lord of the manor of Ockbrook - 20 Aug 1845
