1-2 - Lease and release by Richard Dale of Nottingham, druggist, and Samuel Creswell of Nottingham, bookseller, to Moses Holle of Sandiacre, salter, in consideration of £110, of Derby Way Close, Sandiacre, 1 acres 2 roods, 36 poles, now or late in the occupation of Robert Hopkinson. 24/25 Mar. - 1777
3 - Declaration of the uses of a fine: William Stevenson the elder of Sandiacre, framework knitter, and Elizabeth his wife (née Hole), William Stevenson the younger of Attenborough, shoemaker, Moses Stevenson of Sandiacre, lace manufacturer, Humphry Stevenson of Whitehaven, Cumberland, clerk (three sons of William Stevenson the elder), Fredrick Smith of Nottingham, gent., John Thraves of Sandiacre, farmer, and Richard Salt of Sandiacre, butcher, reciting that William Stevenson the elder is desirous of making some provision for his wife and children and has levied a fine to Fredrick Smith of property at Sandiacre under the description of one cottage, two barns, two stables, one garden and 10 acres of land, by which Stevenson and Smith declare that the fine comprises all that tenement or cottage with croft belonging called Edmunds Croft in Sandiacre, now in the occupation of William Stevenson the elder close called the Derby Road Side in Sandiacre 1 acre, 2 roods, 36 perches and a close called Rushby Lane Intake 1 acre, 1 rood , 25 perches also in the occupation of William Stevenson the elder: to be held by Smith to the use of William Stevenson the elder and Elizabeth his wife for their natural lives, then to the use of the survivor, then to the use of Thraves and Salt for a term of 500 years upon several trusts, namely the cottage and croft to be held to the use of William Stevenson the younger, 500 square yards of the close called Derby Road Side to the use of Moses Stevenson to erect and build a dwellinghouse thereon, remainder of close to the use of Moses Stevenson after the determination of other estates, called Rushby Lane Intake to the use of Humphry Stevenson. 28 Nov. - 1818
