1 - Agreement of exchange made between 1. James Shuttleworth esquire and 2. Sarah Cowlishaw widow and Henry Cowlishaw gentleman by which, for £100 and £80 (expended by 2. upon building a barn and other conveniences upon premises below) paid by Shuttleworth and for the farm house, barns, stables and other outbuildings with croft belonging in Aston, in the tenure of John Prior, the Cowlishaws give in exchange to Shuttleworth farm house, cottage, barns, stables and outhouses in the tenure of widow Shardlow and George Redwood, in Aston and Shuttleworth gives the farm house etc. in Prior's tenure in exchange to the Cowlishaws. Dated 19 January - 1762
2 - Agreement of exchange made between 1. James Shuttleworth and 2. Reverend John Rolleston, Thomas Hickinbotham churchwarden and John Prior overseer of the poor of Aston and also surviving trustee of a charity of the will of Samuel Mather late of Aston, by which 1. agrees to give 2. and their successors as rectors, churchwardens and overseers of Aston, for the use of the poor of Aston, parcel of ground to be set out in the fields of Aston of annual value 35s, which 1. will fence in at his own expense, for which 2. will grant to 1. all their rights in cottage in Aston with outbuildings, orchard and garden belonging in the tenure of John Clark shoemaker and 1. and 2. mutually request commissioners appointed for inclosing the common fields, meadows, pastures and waste grounds in township of Aston to agree to this exchange by allotting the parcel of land out of 1.'s property to purpose above and inserting this exchange in their award. Dated 19 May - 1762
