2 - Counterpart of lease by 1. Robert Houlden of Shardlow gentleman to 2. Anne Hunt widow of John Hunt for good causes, of dwelling house, parlour, milk house, little garden belonging (being part of Aston Hall) now in the tenure of Nicholas Collishaw and half of the fruits and profits of the trees in Swann Orchard belonging to the dwelling house, for Anne Hunt's life - 6 Jun 1648
3 - Agreement that Mrs Hunt is to seal the feoffment to Mr Howlden dated 30 June 1648 concerning 2 cottages and 3 crofts for which Howlden promises that Mrs Hunt shall not be sued by reason of any covenant in that feoffment or another deed between them of 5 June 1648; if Howlden begins an action for recovery of the cottages and receives "any prejudice" because of any act of Mrs Hunt barring in law, then John Gregory in consideration of Howlden's promise to Mrs Hunt, will pay Howlden's loss or damage up to £20.
