1 - Grant of Annuity. Godfrey Watkinson, yeoman, of Brampton to Susan Peace, daughter of Henry Peace, yeoman, of Ouldcoate in the parish of Blythe, (co. Nottingham). An annuity of £13 from lands in Brampton in consideration of the marriage to be solemnised between Godfrey, son of Godfrey Watkinson, and Susan. - 8 Sep 1635
2 - Agreement. Godfrey Watkinson of Newhouse, Brampton with William Clowes, the younger, of Langley in Sutton co. Chester and Mary, his wife, widow of Thomas Greene of the Waters, Bollington (co. Chester). All Watkinson’s lands etc in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire excepting copyhold at Bolsover cottages at Renishaw and certain lands at Brampton to be conveyed within 6 months of the majority of Mary Greene, daughter of Thomas, to be held to the uses of her marriage with Watkinson. - 18 Jan [1693]
3 - Deed to declare uses (badly faded). Godfrey Watkinson of Newhouse, Brampton and Mary his wife, daughter of Thomas Green of Bollington (co. Chester) declare the uses of a fine levied on property in Macclesfield for the trusts of their marriage. - 27 Jan [1702]

A house on St Mary’s Gate, Chesterfield, with a tan yard, etc to stated uses on the marriage of Godfrey Webster and Mary Stubbing, spinster, daughter of Godfrey stubbing, late of Whittington and niece of Godfrey Watkinson, and for £200. - 1-2 Jun 1713

Mary Watkinson, spinster, eldest surviving daughter of Godfrey Watkinson, later of Brampton, by John Carter her attorney to the uses of her will. All her property in the manor. Fine 5/4. - 3 Jul 1761

Elizabeth Watkinson, widow, of Godfrey Watkinson, late of Brampton Moore, with the consent of Thomas Bourne, late captain of a company of the 76th Regiment of Foot, to Godfrey Heathcote and John Wilkinson, merchant, both of Chesterfield. Thomas Bourne of Brampton Moor and Elizabeth his wife, late Watkinson, Ann Birch, widow of Jonathan Birch, merchant, of Manchester, Ruth Watkinson, spinster, of Brampton and John Barker of Bakewell and Jane, his wife, to Robert Newton and Thomas Lees of Platt, at the direction of Bernard Lucas, merchant, of Chesterfield and Samuel Brailsford of Rowthorne. Holme Farm and other farms and properties in Newbold and Brampton to be held for partition among Elizabeth, Ann, Ruth, and Jane, according to the direction of the will of their father Godfrey Watkinson. Elizabeth Bright, spinster, of Chesterfield, Ann Greatorex, widow, of the same and Joseph Saunders, clerk of the same, who married Frances Bright, deceased, Elizabeth, Ann and Frances with Mary Webster, now insane, being daughters of Mary Bright, daughter of Godfrey Watkinson, to Thomas Bourne and Elizabeth, his wife, Ann Birch, Ruth Watkinson, John Barker and Jane, his wife. All the lands charged with £800 by a settlement of Mary Bright for payment to her daughters; for £800. - 4 May 1767
12 - Copy of agreement. Richard Barker, the younger, apothecary, with Ruth Watkinson, spinster, of Bakewell. To appoint Thomas Lees of Platts (co. Lancaster) and John Statham of James St. Westminster, trustees for all Ruth’s property in Derbyshire, to be held to the uses of the marriage between Richard and Ruth.
