4 - ?Draft letter [from Nicholas Cresswell]; not able so far to take plans of place in writer's last letter, has found a carved stone similar to crosses in Bakewell and eyam now in use as a 'doorhead for the school in Hope'; rocking stone on Strines Moor; report that a party hope to open the tumuli at ?Brough 'upon a supposition that there is treasure hid in it'; corrections to [?Bray's] book [?'Tour into Yorkshire and Derbyshire' 1783], including leadmining customs

On reverse: sketch 'This is the War achievements of Win.......A Delaware Warrior' - 4 Feb 1781
