1 - Quitclaim by James, Earl of Northampton to Henry Buxton of Bradburne, John Sladen of Hopton and other miners, Thomas Stevens and other persons, from all actions, etc which he might have against them. - 20th cent
2 - Articles of agreement between the partners (including Anthony Gell) of groves, shafts and meers in the Hollihole Rake, Bomforts Vein and the Penns Rake, all near the Steeple, Wirksworth, concerning the driving of a sough, already begun, to unwater the mines. - 20th cent
3 - Award of N G Clarke, arbitrator, (reciting articles of agreement dated 18 Nov 1813 between 1) the society and companions of Dove Gang Mines and owners of Long Sough Cromford Moor 2) the lessees of Long Sough and mines belonging, 3) the proprietors, (including Phillip Gell), of the Meer Brook Sough and mines belonging, concerning the claim of 3) to 4½ meers on the east side of the vein), that 1) and 2) are entitled to 30 taker meers eastwardly from the founder, as set out by the deputy barmaster in 1698 and 1707. - 20th cent
