1 - Draft deeds. 1)Conveyance in trust by R K of Chinley alias Mainstonefield to William Bagshaw of Ford gent and 9 other named persons of land and buildings (as described below) that they permit the building to be used as a place of meeting of Protestant Dissenters for public religious worship (further details of trust). Reciting that John Hadfield of Chapel Milton yeoman had conveyed to William Bagshaw and to Arnold Kyrke, James Carrington and Robert Middleton (3 of the 9 noted above), on 10 May 1711 a parcel of land near Milton 30 yards square, part of Recliffe piece where the old smithy was built, and since then a meeting place for Protestant Dissenters and another building have been erected on the premises and that this month of 1712 these 4 have conveyed the premises to RK (1712). (2) Copy of deed by which Willliam Bagshaw, Arnold Kyrke, James Carrington and Robert Middleton conveyed premises to R K with the proviso that the premises shall not be converted to any use which would hinder the Dissenters from using it as a place of worship (1712)
2 - File containing 18th century copy of conveyance by Anthony Lingard of Stoney Middleton yeoman, his son in law Joseph Newbold and daughter Ann Newbold to Emanuel Moult of Nase in Chinley gent of house, meadow, in Chapel Milton, one fortieth of lands, cottages etc with slate ground or Slate Breck and one neighbourship on the Mill breck and Mill March in Chinley, for £172 10s (20, 21 Nov 1770). Said to be conveyance of Manse
