1 - Deeds of Crowdenlee Booth, Edale Some of the properties involved were part of the Duchy of Lancaster and subject to annual rents payable to the Crown. All of the properties listed below relate to Crowdenlee Booth unless otherwise specified. It later became Upper Booth. - 1630-1730
2 - Deeds of Whitmorelea Booth, Edale Whitmorelea Booth became known as Barber Booth during the 18th century to reflect the ownership over time by the Barber family. All deeds relate to Whitmorelea Booth unless otherwise specified. - 1652-1680

1 - Assignment of lease for 21 years from George Shore of Chapel-en-le-Frith, shoemaker and Ellen his wife to John Hooe of Grimesbrook, Edale, yeoman, of ½th part of the Vaccary of Crowden in Edale at the annual rent of 34s 8d. - 1596
2 - Articles of agreement from John Mellor of Grimesbrook, Edale, yeoman, to Samuel Frith of Peak Forest, yeoman, in consideration of £130 in total, of a covenant to convey messuages and several closes of land at Edale. - 1740
3 - Release by John Shirt of Edale, yeoman, to his son John, in consideration of the marriage of John Shirt jun to Mary, the daughter of William Fox of Edale and of £255, concerning land at Crowdenlee Booth, Edale. 11 Apr 1780 - 1780
4 - Feoffment from William Fox of Edale, yeoman, John Wagstaffe of Bridge End near Glossop, yeoman, and Mary his wife, to Mary Brocklehurst of Chinley, spinster, in consideration of £250 in total, of a messuage, garden and several closes at Whitmorelea Booth, Edale. - 1789
5 - Lease for 7 years from John Waterhouse, the son of Thomas Waterhouse of Highgate Head in Glossop, deceased, to William Waterhouse of Hayfield, Glossop, joiner, of a parcel of land known as Lower Clover Field, with stall and hayloft [at Highgate Head ?] in consideration of £4 15s. - 1790
