1 - Deeds of Crowdenlee Booth, Edale Some of the properties involved were part of the Duchy of Lancaster and subject to annual rents payable to the Crown. All of the properties listed below relate to Crowdenlee Booth unless otherwise specified. It later became Upper Booth. - 1630-1730
2 - Deeds of Whitmorelea Booth, Edale Whitmorelea Booth became known as Barber Booth during the 18th century to reflect the ownership over time by the Barber family. All deeds relate to Whitmorelea Booth unless otherwise specified. - 1652-1680
1 - Deed of gift from Henry Worrall of Birley, Hathersage, yeoman to his son Henry, of a close called the Meadow. Subject to the annual rent of 3s to the Duchy of Lancaster. - 1652
2 - Bargain and sale from Giles Barber to Thomas Hadfield, both of Whitmorelea Booth, yeoman,in consideration of £67, of a close called the Meadowhead. Subject to the annual rent of 3s to the Duchy of Lancaster. - 1653
3 - Feoffment from George Barber of Whitmorelea Booth, yeoman and his son George, to William Hambleton of Holts, Edale, miner, in consideration of £33, of a bay of a barn and land - 1654

6 - Lease for 9 years from George Barber, Katherine his wife and George his son, all of Whitmorelea, to Ellis Barber of Holme, Bakewell, in consideration of £10, of parcels of land called Nether Barn Croft and Kiln Tor. - 1659
7 - Feoffment from George, Katherine and George Barber to Ellis Barber (all as in 2/6) in consideration of £70, of closes of land called Nether Barn Croft, the Meadow and Kiln Tor. - 1660
8-9 - Assignment of mortgage from Henry Worrall of Birley, Hathersage, yeoman, and JohnSmyth of Baslow, weaver, and Mary his wife, to Ellis Barber of Bakewell, yeoman, in consideration of £38, of a close of ground called the Meadow, with assignment - 1672
10 - Lease for 12 years from Francis Wood of Peak Forest, miner, and Mary his wife, to Ellis Barber of Bakewell, yeoman, in consideration of £6, of half part of John Barne Croft. - 1676
11-12 - Lease and release from Rowland Hall of Edale, yeoman, to Ellis Barber of Bakewell, yeoman, in consideration of £6 10s, of a dwelling, bay and peathouse. Dated 21-22 Aug 1677 - 1677
