To observe an arbitration award by John Frogat of Parkhall, Glossop gent and William Bennett of Chinley End yeoman relating to land called Toadehole, and if the award is not made by 29 June, to abide by award of Samuel Kyrke of Whitehough, Chapel en le Frith. 19 Jun - 1732
4 - Probate and copy of will of Dorothy Beard of Low Lowlaughton [Low Leighton] widow, a Quaker, will dated 18 May 1736, probate granted 12 Apr 1739. Confirms gift of £210 to Edward Heathcote son of her niece Mary Heathcote and makes a number of small bequests. Names William Bennet her executor. - 1739
