D3174 - Wirksworth, Melbourne and Rosliston deeds - 18th cent
1 - Lead Mines, Wirksworth: Agreement between the proprietors of lead mines within Wirksworth wapentake known as Ratchwood Mine, Orchard Mine and Raventor otherwise Rantor Mines to solve any disputes that may arise between the proprietors relating to the mines by nominating referees to reach an agreement. The names of the partners of each mine are listed 26 October 1758 - 1758
2 - Melbourne Common Stone Quarries: Lease between the Right Honourable Francis, Earl of Huntingdon and John Chambers of Wiln, stone cutter of open stone pits or quarries in Melbourn Common for 21 years for a yearly rent of £10. 24 June 1761 - 1761
3 - Manor of Rosliston and Lands: Agreement (full reference D3174/3/1) between John Spender of Burton on Trent, Surgeon and Francis Cox of Lullington, Farmer to convey his share and interest in the manor of Rosleston, a dwelling house, yard and garden in Rosleston and enclosed lands in Rosleston called the Great Field, the further Great Field and the Homestead for £1,365. 24 March 1796. A 20th cent typescript version (reference D3174/3/2) is also available. - 1796
