5 - Bill, Sir John Stanhope of Elvaston knight against Charles Cotton of London esq, aged 24, who has eloped with and married Stanhope's daughter Olive aged 14. Recites that Sir John had married Olive Beresforde, only daughter and heir of Edward Beresforde, and that the manors of Beresforde, Staffordshire, and Fenny Bentley were conveyed by Sir John's father, Sir John, and Edward Beresforde to Sir John and wife Olive and daughter Olive was heiress to them. - [17th cent]
