2 - Marriage settlement in the form of a feoffment by James Atkin of Sickhouse, pa Norton, tanner, to Thomas Barton of Lees in the same parish, yeoman, and Roger Lee of Little Sheffield, pa Sheffield, co York, yeoman, of a messuage known as Sickhouse, near Himsworth, pa Norton, the closes known as Lymepittmeadowe, Wheatecrofte, Broomeclose, and the Infeilde, all occupied by James Atkin or his assigns, for the use of Samuel Atkin, son and heir of James Atkin, and his intended wife Alice Lee, sister of Roger Lee, with certain reservations to James Atkin and his wife Hellen, 24th July 1658. - 1658
3-4 - Lease and release between(1) Alice Atkin of Sickhouse, pa Norton, widow, Josiah Atkin of Sickhouse, yeoman, son of Alice Atkin, and Anne his wife, (2) John Lathom of Hallows, pa Dronfield, gentleman and churchwarden of Unstone quarter, and Francis Chantry of Hundall, pa Dronfield, overseer of the poor of Unstone quarter, (3) Robert Good of Summerly, gentleman, and other trustees (4) Robert Turner of Linacre, yeoman, whereby those of the first part convey to those of the second part the property described in D2441 PF 2/2, which is made subject to a rentcharge payable to those of the second and third parts, 1st-2nd September, 1712 - 1712
5 - Final concord between John Latham, gent, and Robert Turner, plaintiffs, and Alice Atkin, widow, Josiah Atkin and Anne his wife, Thomas Lowe, Francis Chantrey and Anne his wife, John Blackwell, and Edward Morley and Martha his wife deforciants, whereby the deforciants recognise various lands and tenements in Norton, Crompton, Hognaston and Chesterfield to be the right of John Latham and Robert Turner. - 1712
