1 - Gift by Timothy Booth of Mosborough moor in parish of Eckington bend-ware-maker in consideration of affection he bears to his son George, to George of all his goods, wares, plate, jewels, ready money, household furniture, implements, chattels, leases, in the messauge Timothy lives in or elsewhere. 30 June - 1756

2 - Apprenticeship indenture made between 1 John Stockall farmer of South Okerington, North Riding of Yorkshire and William Stockall his son and 2 George Eshelby of Thirsk currier, by which William was apprenticed to George Eshelby for £8 8s. 10 October - 1767

3 - Apprenticeship indenture made between 1 John Booth son of George Booth of Ridgway bendwaremaker and 2 William Stockil of Sheffield currier by which Booth is apprenticed to Stockil. 7 June - 1810

1 - Valuation of the fixtures in the shop of Mr Stokehill, signed E W Drury. 11 May - 1820

2 - Inventory of the ?leather: the inventory also lists other items such as oil. At the foot are the notes 'To bear interest from the first of June 1820' and 'Rent to take place from first June 1820 at Twenty five Guineas per year', nd. - [19th cent]

3 - Assignment by William Stockil of Sheffield currier and leather cutter to John Booth of the same place currier and leather cutter for £208 18s of household goods and furniture, stock in trade, fixtures etc as set out in certain schedules ie as to the household goods in a schedule of 11 May last signed by William Henry Sanders a sworn appraiser and also in another schedule of same date of the fixtures signed by - Drury and as to stock in trade in a Stockhill family connection schedule of - and signed by William Stockil of Doncaster, 15 June. - 1820

4 - Small account book: Mr William Stockil in account with J Booth. Payments are varied, often are to people, but may be for goods such as silver, oats, or for horse shoeing or for taxes, postage etc. Receipts give names of persons. Final total £236 1s 4d. Dated May 1820 to June 1825, but nearly all the entries are from May 1820 - August 1823. - 1820-1825

5 - Paper of accounts: (1) an account involving Mr Stockil, on one side to balance as per book, on the other summary valuations of stock, shop fixtures, furniture and house (total £358 18s 0d) (2) a list of persons and sums of money (3) cash received since July 1823 not entered in the book

5 - John Booth: Notice of annual meeting of subscribers to the Rotherham Dispensary, 27 Dec. [The blank parts of the original notice are written over with what may be a draft of a letter ?written by John Booth esq. He refers to "looking over your paper of Dec 28" and finding in it's a letter signed Wm Smith and headed "The Revd Wm Smith and the Methodist Reformers" Booth as a Wesleyan Methodist goes on to deplore the strife within Methodism and to comment on Mr Smith's letter] - 1850
