1 - Account of sums collected in the parish of Spondon, at Locko, Kedleston, 'Stableford' [? Stapleford, co. Nottingham], Liberty of Chaddesden, 'Auverston' [Alvaston] and Boulton, Ockbrook, Borrowash, Heanor, Hallam, Ilkeston, Bakewell, Derby, Breadsall, Duffield, Mugginton, Burton [co. Stafford] and 'Chadsworth' [Chatsworth]; Names of persons contributing in Spondon (with one person from Thulston), Locko, Chaddesden, Alvaston and Boulton, but only totals given for other places. The sums contributed by individuals are small, often only 6d or 1s, but rising to £3. 3. 0 paid by the Duke of Devonshire. Includes names of local collectors, plus annotations of non-payment. This is the record of a collection made in aid of some disaster, most probably in the area of Spondon. Feb-Nov. - 1753
