D1895 - Tideswell Cliffe Bowling Club - 1919-1970
G1 - Memorandum of an agreement made between Mr John Brocklehurst, the landlord, and Dr T H Parke, Rev R Holmes and Mr Ezra Walker, representing the Tideswell Cliffe Bowling Club, the tenants, whereby the landlord lets to the tenants a plot of land laid out as a bowling green situated near the Cliffe House, Tideswell, to hold from year to year from 29 Sep 1919. Rent 20s. Membership of the club not to exceed forty; no children allowed; landlord to act as supervisor of the green at an annual retainer of £3; green to be closed on Sundays; the tenants to have permission to erect a small, wooden pavilion. Dated 14 May. - 1920
G2 - Memorandum of an agreement made between Dr Thomas Henry Parke J P of Foxlow House, Tideswell, and the members of the Cliffe Bowling Club, whereby Parke agrees to lend the club the sum of £100 to purchase a pavilion. Interest 5 per cent. Dated 5 Oct. - 1920
