[It authorises Edward, Lord Newburgh, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, to treat and compound with the freeholders of the High Peak for improving the waste and commons. An endorsement about Thomas Wentworth, Earl of Strafford, was contained in the original.] - 19th cent
