1 - Feoffment by John Downs of Brownside, Glossop, fellmonger, to Nicholas Lingard of Stoddard, Chapel-en-le-Frith, yeoman, in consideration of £47.  10s. 0d, of closes in Stoddard called Little Highfield, the Lowflatt, the Croft or the backside of the barn and one bay of building or the west end of the barn at Stoddard, with all appurtenances. 22 June. - 1670
2 - Release by John Baker of Bakewell, hosier, and John Gardom of Bubnell, hosier, to John Broomhead and Jonathan Broomhead both of Eckington, mercers (trustees of partnership between Baker and Gardom) in consideration of 10s, of a close in Bakewell called Cowley Close used as a whitening croft or bleaching yard, and several warehouses and workshops standing on the same.  23 January 1748/9 - 1749
3-4 - Lease for possession and release by Thomas Gardom of the Cliff in the parish of Bakewell, gent, to Rev Alexander Crawford Broomhead surviving executor of Thomas Gardom deceased father of Thomas Gardom, in consideration of £800, of an undivided eighth part and all other parts and shares of Thomas Gardom devised to him by his late father in all messuages, lands tenements etc in Tideswell and Holymoorside, and assignment of one eighth part of the personal estate and effects of the late Thomas Gardom. 28 October - 1818
5 - Assignment by James Billingsley of Wrottesley in the parish of Tettenhall, Staff., gent., surviving assignee of the separate estate and effects of William Hilliard of Wolverhampton, ironmonger bankrupt, Edward Dixon of Dudley, hop-merchant and Samuel Peach of Seisdon, Staffs. (assignees of the estate of William Hilliard, Henry Dison and James Grove of Wolverhampton, ironmongers, also bankrupts) to Garmon of Bubnell, hosier, John Platt of Rotherham, architect and Alexander Bosley of Bakewell, gent, in consideration of £187 19s 0d., all the machinery, merchandise and stock in trade belonging to a certain firm or co-partnership called the Ashford Marble Machine Company standing in the names of William Hilliard in the company's books.  2 October - 1783
