1 - Lease by Francis Gee of Chapel-en-le-Frith yeoman, to Charles Lingard of Chapel Milne Glossop, yeoman, of parcels of land in Stoddard in the parish of Chapel called the Great Hayfield, the Great Slackyord field and the lower end of the Heald with one ox house of two bays adjoining, for the life of Ann Tunstead widow late of Stoddard at an annual rent of £5 3s 4d. 1 October. see also D1214/T1 - [17th cent]
2 - Lease by Robert Tunstead of Stoddard, Chapel-en-le-Frith to Charles and John Lingard sons of Charles Lingard of Chapel Milne towne, Glossop, bachelors, in consideration of £62 10s 0d., all those buildings rooms and portions of buildings (part of buildings formerly in the occupation of Robert and Ann Tunstead) namely the parlour below the middle floor, the two chambers over the same parlour, the chamber over the entry to the messuage, the stable, the ox house and two bays of the barn adjoining the ox house, also the garden adjoining the ox house, also the garden adjoining the parlour and closes called Great Hayfield, Lesser Slackyord field and the west end of the Heald, for 99 years after the death of Ann Tunsteed at an annual rent of 12d. Dated 8 October - 1649
3 - Bond by Henry Kyrke of Cowses Chapel-en-le-Frith, yeoman to Charles Lingard of Chapel Milne Glossop in £36 to keep the covenants etc, in articles between them. Dated 19 February 1657/8 - 1658
4 - Bond by James Buckley of Stoddard, Chapel-en-le-Frith, yeoman, to Nicholas Lingard of Stoddard, yeoman, in £120: to keep the covenants in an indenture of the same date. Dated 7 March 1669/70 - 1670
5 - Will and probate of Thomas Littlewood of West Handley sickle smith. Will dated 7 February 1718/9, probate granted 9 April 1719. - 1719
