1-3 - Leaves torn from a small folio headed "continued" including a glebe terrier transcribed 1754 from the 1714 terrier, also charitable gifts to the poor, reciting extracts from the wills of Thomas Allsopp, rector of Hatherne, dated June 1686, William Chaloner junior, dated September 1675, Robert Chaloner, dated September 1704 and John Harper, will 22 February 1686/7. Also notes of the endowment of the rectory and further notes on the charities of John Chaloner dated June 1705 and John Gisbourne, dated April 1704. Also a list of glebe lands in Sapperton Field. 4 - Certified extract from the will of William Challoner leaving ,5 to the poor of Boylestone, interest to be expended on bread to be distributed on Christmas Day by the Overseers and Churchwarden: also a bequest of ,4 for the repair of the church. Microfilm M313 vol 15. - 1675
5 - Certified extract from the will of Robert Challenor (22 May 1705) leaving £6 to the poor: interest to be expended on bread to be distributed on New Year's Day by Overseers and Churchwardens. Certified extract from the will of William Challenor in which 20s bequeathed to poor householders, to be paid at Christmas at the discretion of his executors (Microfilm M313 vol 15). - 1705
6 - Certified extract from the will (22 February 1686/7) to John Harper of Cubley Lodge by which 8s. per annum bequeathed to the poor of Boylestone and Cubley, to be expended on bread, 4 dozen loaves to be distributed on Easterday and 4 dozen loaves on Christmas Day: also a bequest of £20 to his kinsman George Stow of Boylestone to pay the 8s. and also the £3 for overseeing the same (Microfilm M313 vol 15). - 1686-1687
7 - Letter from Charles Tucker, Clerk to the Commissioners for charities at Ashbourne to the Rev Thomas Gell referring to transcripts from the parish book and the need for further detail to be elicited by viva voce examination and enclosing a precept requiring the attendance of a suitable person with manuscript evidence. Refers to Gisbourne, Bazley and Bayley bread charity (Microfilm M313 vol 15). - 1826
8 - Letter from Charles Tucker, Clerk to Commissioners for Charities, 13 Great George Street, Westminster, 25 November 1926, to Rev Thomas Gell of Boylestone. A reply to Gell's letter of 17 November stating that they had recently received a letter from E. H. Lushington Esq., concerning Gisbourne's charity and that when their information respecting the charity is complete they will write to Rev Mr Jones of Church Broughton. The letter also questions whether the vicarage of Church Broughton is endowed with great tithes because the charity consists of a fee farm rent payable out of the rectory. The poor of Willington are entitled under the charity to £5 per annum subject to a deduction of 15s for land tax. Probable new trustees must be made. Additional note from Gell to Mr Jones requesting reply respecting endowment of living and the loan of the Church Broughton enclosure act (M313 vol 15). - 1826

15 - Deed of declaration by Rev Tansley Hall, Rector of Boylestone concerning £100 extrusted to him by Elizabeth Chawner late of Harehill in the parish of Sudbury, interest to be used at his discretion for the aged and poor, sick and infirm parishioners and other inhabitants of Boylestone and augmentations of £50 and £100 respectively under the wills of Frances Elizabeth Chawner and Richard Chawner. Capital now £297. 17s. 6d. consols of which £107. 5s. 0d transferred to Official Trustees of Charitable Funds on the same trusts under the scheme for the distribution of clothing, blankets, coals and bread or subsidising Elizabeth Chawner's gift, 7 Oct. - 1891
