History
Originally proposed in 1968 for 12 working boys; approval for 12 working boys and residential staff in May 1970 when it was first named Albany House and called Albany House Family Centre. In 1984 it is referred to as a Working Boys Hostel.
Albany House provided residential accommodation for 12 adolescents over school age in 1973. There were 6 long-term placements provided in March 1997. It was renamed Evergreen House on 1 April 2013 and was then refurbished, providing 5 bedrooms. As at February 2016, it had 5 bedrooms and housed only 2 residents. Clientele: As at 2016, the home accommodated children aged 11-17 for medium to long term.
