This school was certainly run by Nottinghamshire County Council from 1921 until at least the mid 1980s.
As part of the boys' education from the 1960s onwards, the subject of Rural Studies was studied, which involved the running and working of a farm unit, the teacher being Mr Ian Gregory.
In 2013 it was private residential property, described as "ten bedroom period mansion".
