History | The Club was formed 1863, and has been based at Station Road, Darley Dale since it's establishment. The ground is now under trustee ownership. The Club is a member of the Derbyshire County League and previously in Premier League, highlights Derbyshire played Hampshire in 1975, John Player League on the ground, with a 5000-strong crowd.
The first black West Indian man to play county cricket in England, Charles Ollivierre (1876-1949) also played for Darley Dale 1906-1911. |
