Title
British Coal Opencast: restoration and planning documents relating to the Forge and Monument site in the Erewash valley, 3 kilometres east of Ripley. British Coal Opencast applied for permission to extract approximately 530 000 tonnes of coal and other minerals from the site, over a period of 30 months. Deposited in Alfreton Library to allow for public access to the contents.
