Administrative History
This parish was formed out of Chesterfield, St Mary and All Saints in 1841. The church had been built in 1838. Newbold (see D2398) came within the district of Holy Trinity after 1838 until it became a separate parish. Christ Church, Stonegravels, was also included - this was a district church and chapel of ease until at least the 1890's.
