DescriptionThis was a sub-committee of the Bridges and Highways committee set up in 1930. Earlier minutes are to be found with the main committee (see 1/5/7-14). Part of the committee's function was to implement the Restriction of Ribbon Development Act 1935. After the 1947 Town and County Planning Act, which repeated most previous legislation covering planning, these matters were dealt with by the Planning committee (see 1/49/1-7).
