Describes routines of fur trading. Envisages possible route for the return journey and describes implications for his receipt of further letters. Speculates about re-engaging servants upon return to London. Sends good wishes to family and friends, including the Flaxmans, Mr and Mrs Philips, Dr Thomson and ladies and the Griffins. 1 Jul 1826: confirms arrival at Fort Good Hope.
