DescriptionShe would have liked to have seen her, her husband and the children when they were in London, and hopes to do so in the spring when next up; Hester [?Davies] quite herself; daughter Eleanor is a precocius child to begin lessons so early; hopes things are better within the family, having heard of a settlement made between aunt and nephew; reference to enquiry about Mr and Mrs Gell going to to New Zealand, on account of the proposed bishopric. Letter is only dated 14 Feb, but the references makes the year possibly 1853.
