TitleLetter from Henrietta W. Wright to her niece Eleanor Isabella Gell, mainly on family news, with the hope that Eleanor will soon settle all matters that have been an anxiety to her
Date9 Jul 1855
DescriptionVia Uncle Sellwood wishing the Gells a pleasant journey to Paris and return to their home at Notting Hall. Arthur gave a satisfactory account of the Gell children; he also saw how Mary was settled at Ryde; he assisted his father in Sunday service, reading prayers in the morning and helping to administer communion, and preaching in the afternoon; he went home that day. Harriet would be obliged for the seals Eleanor offered: Aunt Booth when she come to Lincolnshire or Alice, given the opportunity, passing from Shiplake, could bring them. She hopes Eleanor is able to settle all matters soon after all the months of the burden of anxiety. Love to the Gell family. She has had favourable accounts of Mary.
