Administrative HistoryAnne Sellwood, later Weld (1814-1894) was the second daughter of Henry Sellwood and his wife Sarah (nee Franklin). She was the niece of the Arctic explorer Sir John Franklin and the cousin of Eleanor Isabella Franklin, later Gell. Anne was married in 1842 at Horncastle, Lincolnshire, to Charles Richard Weld, who went on to become the Secretary of the Royal Society; they had one daughter Agnes Grace (born 1849).
