DescriptionReceipt of letter from Mr Sellwood on his not knowing whereabouts of settlement of Mrs Hessing's property; if Macintosh does not have deed, it may be among her father's papers; the trustees wil be cautious; pleased at the tone of the debate in the House of Commons on the Arctic Expedition and glad that another searching party will be sent via Lancaster Sound.
Dated only 8 Feb, but year 1850 added in pencil. There was a debate in the House on 5 Feb 1850, where it was announced that an expedition would be sent eastwards by Lancaster Sound,
