Administrative HistoryCatherine Franklin, later Rawnsley (1818-1892) was the daughter of Sir Willingham Franklin and his wife Catherine Elizabeth (nee Burnside). She was the niece of Sir John Franklin, whose only child was Eleanor Isabella Franklin, later Gell. Catherine married Robert Drummond Rawnsley, son of Reverend Thomas Hardwicke Rawnsley of Holton Holgate, on 15 Sep 1842; they had 9 children (Mary Sophia, Willingham Franklin, Emily Margaret, Hardwicke Drummond, Alfred Edward, Walter Hugh, Ethel Elizabeth, Arthur Eden, John Franklin).
