Administrative HistoryThe Deepwood Mining Company Limited was incorporated in 1972 and was owned by Albert Rocharch. It had an office in Matlock, and may also have had an office in Leek dealing with hydrocarbon exploration.
Custodial HistoryThis album was found during a domestic garage clearance and was deposited at Derbyshire Record Office in June 2018.
AppraisalThe papers deposited in March 2024 have not yet been appraised. This work will be undertaken in consultation with the Peak District Mining Historical Society.
