Administrative HistoryThe Foundation was responsible for two schools, West Hallam Secondary School, West Hallam and west Hallam Endowed primary School. The Foundation is now known as the Scargill’s Educational Foundation.
Custodial HistoryThese records were deposited in the Derbyshire Record Office by the clerk to the governors of the Foundation in July 1970 (accessioned 1971) and March 1981.
