Related Material | Information supplied by the Peak District Mines Historical Society suggests that there are at least two other contemporary copies in private hands, plus a a photographic copy of one of the plans in the Barmaster's collection at Chatsworth Archives. It is likely that each copy may be slightly different, but a more detailed comparison of the various items would be required to confirm this. Furthermore, the dates of the various copies are inconsistent, with some dated 1768 and others 1769. A photostat copy of one of the originals (perhaps the same one as in the Chatsworth Archives) is held in the PDMHS Library at the Peak District Lead Mining Museum in Matlock Bath, and under reference D6967/4/4. |
