Administrative History | The first meeting of the General Committee took place on 3 January 1893 at the Falcon Cafe, Chesterfield, a Provisional Committee having been formed at a Special Meeting of gentlemen representative of various Religious Denominations at Miss Brooker's Refreshment Rooms on Knifesmithgate on 21 Oct 1892.
