DescriptionThis volume contains a large number of photographs, cuttings, advertisements and souvenir programmes relating to musical and theatrical entertainments. The following examples are all credited to the Alan Turner Operatic Society and staged at the Rudolf Steiner Hall in London, unless otherwise stated:
Programme for a performance of A A Milne's "The Dover Road" at the Fortune Theatre, Russell Street, London on 13 May 1935 by The SMMT Players (The Staff of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders Ltd). Pasted into the back of the volume is a letter to Turner from the SMMT Players, also dated 13 May 1935, thanking him for his assistance with the performance.

Programme for Johann Strauss's "Die Fledermaus, in aid of the Middlesex Hospital and other institutions, Jan and Feb 1934 (the first British production of Strauss's ballet-opera). Following the programme are photographs of the performance and letters of congratulation, including one dated 3 Feb 1934 from the Chairman of the Middlesex Hospital, Prince Arthur of Connaught (1883-1938).
