Administrative History | Owner: Derbyshire County Council Area: Erewash Opened: 2012. Still open as at July 2016. History: The Getaway opened in 2012 and replaced the Dallimore Project, Kirk Hallam which opened at Stanton Vale School 2001 (office based at Heanor Library). The Getaway provides a stimulating and exciting experience for 10 to 18-year-olds and has six bedrooms with en-suite facilities and specialist equipment to ensure young people have a safe and enjoyable stay. Units: At Stanton Vale units: Heather, Willow and Fern. Clientele: Short break and shared care for disabled children and young people age 10-18 years. |
