Custodial HistoryThis item was donated in June 2016 by the wife of a private individual who found it in the offices of Simpson House, 35-36 St Mary's Gate, Derby, during a refurbishment project in which he was involved. Although Llewellyn Eardley Simpson was operating out of offices in the Market Place in Derby in 1911 with the firm Simpson and Meakin, by 1925, he had joined the firm of Taylor, Simpson and Mosley whose offices were 35 St Mary's Gate, presumably this is how the volume came to be in this building.
