Title
Health/Wellbeing project file: Three Wishes
Date
2007-2008
Description
Teenage Pregnancy Research project, commissioned by the Local Strategic Partnership for Bolsover, at a time when teenage conception rates in the district, which were higher than the national average. The project was funded by the Neighbourhood Renewal Project, and aimed to provide recommendations for future service delivery. Activities included 8 sessions for young/expectant mothers at Pinxton Youth Centre in 2008. The project aimed to "use storytelling as a vehicle for parents to explore personal issues/thoughts/feelings around teenage pregnancy and parenthood", and also involved participants in a "Quilting Bee", i.e. a social gathering centred on the creation of a decorative quilt.
The file includes evaluation report, correspondence, project profile, minutes of planning meetings, and budget proposals.
