Title
Bolsover Children's Festival
Date
1995-2006
Description
Bolsover Children's Festival was organised as a regular event during the 1990s and early 2000s. It has been one of the most enduring of Junction Arts' recurring events. Over the years there have been some variations in the name and different arrangements for funding and timing, but the basic elements have remained the same: a night-time parade through the town, with people carrying lanterns which they have made under the direction of Junction Arts.
These files are arranged by year, and typically include a printed programme for each year's festival, a press release, event timetable, a flyer/advertisement for the festival and for any associated workshops, a letter of invitation/ticket application form, correspondence with official bodies and other interested parties, notes on arrangements for the day and a record of feedback from participants. By contrast with other series in D7913/6/8, these files tend to have more notes and correspondence regarding details of the event, and artists' contracts also feature more heavily.
