Description
The work installed was a sculpture of the classical Greek goddess Demeter, and wheel arcs symbolising the mill, railway and mining heritage of Clowne
The artist chosen for the commission was Andy Scott of Glasgow. Funding came from Tesco and Bolsover District Council.
Includes correspondence and other papers relating to recruitment and planning, and installation of the work, as well as technical designs and related publicity materials such as newspaper cuttings and a photograph of the artist next to the work.
