Three sketch plans for the development of the village green were circulated at public consultations. Of these, the most popular was one which included a site for a mosaic. This led to a commission for mosaic work. Activities undertaken as a part of this project included pebble mosaic workshops with Mark Davidson, clay tile workshops with Brian Holland and Tile Mosaic workshops with Nikki Greaves. The workshops were open to local people of all ages. |
