Description | Living Literacy was a major programme developed by Junction Arts, with funding arranged through Bolsover Local Strategic Partnership. The programme worked on numerous literacy projects in schools across the Bolsover District, initially with children in Key Stage 2 (aged 7 to 11) and then also Key Stage 3 (ages 11 to 14). Its content was created within the framework of the National Literacy Strategy, using creative practitioners to stimulate literacy activities which would then be followed up with classroom work by teachers.
The folders contain a wide variety of documents deriving from the creation and operation of the programme, including correspondence, planning and evaluation papers, financial and budgeting records, funding papers, service contracts and published reports. They comprise:
